Great pictures! I feel like I have been to that place with those weird rock formations, sometime in college. Hmmm, that would explain why I can't remember it very well. Where is that again?
Just (JUST!) when I decide to check one.more.time for an update before sending a posse over the hill to check on you, here you are, by golly! Not dead is very good indeed :-) Them's some beautiful photos, GH. Yosemite is gorgeous at this time of year. I hope your move went well and that you're happily ensconced now in your new nest. One of these fine days I'll become a pilgrim and we'll hit that ice cream counter.

slyce: thanks! that's mono lake up in the sierra nevadas, near mammoth. i only remember bits of your time in college, too. mostly involving toothpicks and pocky. and fur. lots of fur.
