Penultimate Post! Gasp!
By "penultimate", I mean HERE, in this format, using Blogger. Unless I get lazy and feel like posting again before the new blog is up and running. Prepare to be amazed and astounded! You may even be flabbergasted. Right in the flibbertygibbet.
So things have been going both very well and very poorly for me. I'm not terribly happy about that. I am making great strides with my emotional health - to the point where I'm pretty sure I'm almost ready to start dating again. I still need to take things slowly, but I think I'm ready for something new and exciting. Ghosts have been put to bed.
On the other hand, work continues to suck in a fairly alarming way. I am trying very hard to keep from having a heart attack before I quit. That's sort of my mantra right now: Don't die before you retire. The 14 hour days aren't particularly helpful, but I'm hoping that giving myself nice little monthly vacations up north will keep me sane until Moving Day.

seriously, though, i need to be careful. that runs in my family, and my stress level has been through the roof.
maybe i just need to find my happy place. but with my luck, it's probably inside a kitten.

So, I've been off gallavanting for a month or so, and was greatly fearing the massive catch-up process. But you, Most Thoughtful Mr. Hobo, haven't actually written very much while my back was turned, thus earning the one and only comment I am making on any of my catch-up blogs. Yay!

Just make sure you don't come up here during PMS week. Our combined stress levels at that time would blow the dead right out of that graveyard.
By the way, I've scored major points lately in casual conversations through my newfound expertise on the Fire Boar. That symposium was actually quite helpful.
I am just glad your emotional health is good. Work is allowed to suck, but other things, no.
carroll: glad i could help re: your post-gallavanting catching up. and i'll be staying right here. it's basically just a flip of the switch and the new blog will be active - you won't have to do anything.

rekabek: i think the last thing i need is a bunch of pissed off zombies on my case, so i'll make sure that my next trip does not coincide with PMS week. i have to say though, if i get that relaxed DURING PMS week, i may just leap straight into a coma in a non-PMS week. i'm looking forward to it!
excellent news re: Fire Boar conversations! sadly, i have not been able to work that sort of thing into any of my recent conversations, but hey, the year is young, right?
