London Called.

And Scotland sort of yelled and pointed. I've just returned from a fantastic vacation to the UK, I've taken tons of pictures, and I'm feeling frisky enough to try a photo journal. To the tune of one photo per day, accompanied by a little story. Sound good? Too bad! Let's get started.

This was taken by The Girl on the first day we spent in London, in front of Westminster Cathedral. I'm normally not a fan of the "self portrait", but I think this one turned out pretty cool. Note the eyebrow. It's sort of a thing with me. Someone recently remarked that if I got botox injections in my forehead, no one would recognize me because my eyebrow wouldn't be wiggling around.

Chubby Bunny

It is somewhat amazing to me that until five minutes ago, the words "Chubby Bunny" held no meaning for me. I was reading the quite excellent blog Little. Yellow. Different., where I learned that a) Landocalrissan Butler, 25, of Poughkeepsie NJ was arrested for selling crack (that's what you get for screwing over the Rebel Alliance), and b) there is a game called "Chubby Bunny". A quick trip to Wikipedia informed me that the purpose of this game is to shove as many marshmallows in your mouth as possible while still retaining the ability to say a silly phrase. Like "Chubby Bunny".

If there was a richter scale for awesomeness, Mr. T Ville would be in shambles.

A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius

Dear Internets,

I had great hair today.

You're welcome.

Yours in humility,

A Few Things I Have Discovered in the Past Few Weeks

The girl for me likes making big breakfasts more than she likes eating big breakfasts. Which works out perfectly, because I'd rather eat a big breakfast than make one.

If you listen very closely, and have your ear close to the ground, you can hear the grass unfolding in the sun. It makes a crackling sound. Like rice krispies.

I am much better at going to bed late that getting up early. This is not necessarily a new discovery - it's more of a re-emphasis on how hard it is to get up at a reasonable hour.

The sound a raised (right) eyebrow makes, and an astronaut's reaction to that sound.

I am addicted to seeing a certain smiling face in the morning. That face would also like to see a lot more of mine on a much more regular and permanent basis.

FUZZLING is WAAAY better than nuzzling. WAY.

I am frequently full of glee, and make appropriate (and sometimes embarrassing) sounds upon those occasions.

London ain't gonna know what hit it. Scotland, however, may have a clue.

7 Things

I kinda like making lists, so here's another one that's making the rounds on the interwebs. Those of you who are already afraid of being tagged have EXCELLENT REASONS. Make sure you read all the way down to the bottom. You know who you are.

Ok, that was fun! I now tag Space Nakji, San Nakji...and...Brotha Buck!
