Ok, you all have to go and check out KattBanjo's blog. She is a cat who plays a banjo, and sometimes yells "MOOOOOOOD NIIIIIIPLES" for no apparent reason. I think you'll agree that she's a perfect edition to my link collection.

it is only given to people who are awesome. if you want the flat furry thing with legs, you'll have to fight space nakji for it. and the cork is mine. i cut a hole in my box of wine coz it's fancier with a cork.

oh I love the pythons! Run away!!!! I love the whole "Jehovah" bit when they go to stoning! That's probably my fave.
you and I like alot of the same movies, especially the Miyazaki ones. I saw Spirited Away recently and was blown away. I ran to ebay and bought six of his movies on dvd! Most of the ones you listed..That probably doesn't make you feel good, huh?

i love miyazaki! my favorite is porco rosso - have you seen that one? i saw howl's moving castle a few months ago and really like it as well. i think i've got everything of his except for something with a panda. i'm not really into pandas, really. i think they're overrated.

I LOVE Miyazaki soo much I bought a 6 dvd set on ebay couple months back with Spirited Away (one of my all time favorites), Princess Mononoke(too bloody for kiddies), Grave of the Fireflies(Tooo sad for everybody), Porco Rosso(honestly haven't watched it yet), Kiki's delivery service(kids like this one), my freind torturo( 2nd favorite perhaps is the panda-like creature?) and Castle in the Sky(another pretty good one) I love the way they are drawn. The movies are so lush and beautiful to watch. I am an artist and something about the way he draws moves me, so much detail in every shot. The interior shots are amazing even the vases have incredible patterns on them.
Sidenote: Disney has made some deal with them and is now the american distributor. if you try to buy these movies at the ghibli site it shoots you to Disney. Its a sad commentary on the state of things to me....Disney is evil empire. Hmm just got blog idea, thanks!!
I'm sorry I didn't mean to ramble, we just hit topic I enjoy!! We have lots of the same movies in common! (Although I didn't list many of them in my profile) Don't know much of the music though. lol!
