Fuzzy in the Head
I have been attacked by a cold, so I'm not feeling particularly sharp today. Not that I usually get beyond the keen edge of a pair of rusty garden shears, but still. I am the fuzziest sock in the drawer at the moment, all warm and toasty and not much concerned with anything else but laying around.
That said, I went to Washington for 9 days. The state, not the capitol. It was wonderful. I flew in on Saturday morning and was met at the airport by The Girl. We then had the Second Best Pancakes in the history of everything with The Girl's sister Rosy, then I met the rest of The Family. Brother Max gave me his GameBoy games and carrying case, Sister Ashley cracked me up when she put a green bag over her head, and Mom Joan kicked my sorry ass at Scrabble more than once.
Everyone was very welcoming and I enjoyed a great Thanksgiving Dinner with The Girl's Family. Best of all though, was that I got to spend a ton of time with The Girl, and that's more precious than anything.
So here are some things I saw while in the lovely state of Washington:

thanks! the best pancakes are made from snoqualmie falls lodge pancake mix in my kitchen, by The Girl. :D
OH MY GOD!!! Ok, not that she didn't get my Official Seal Of Approval before, BUT... you didn't tell me she used SNOQUALMIE FALLS LODGE PANCAKE MIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That stuff is like the [insert name of drug that comes in powdered form here] of the pancake world. It's just that good.
Gosh, It was only a few days ago that I was regaling TCGIAOD with tales of that pancake mix......
So. Damn. Good.
